of 2008 Consensus statements:
1. CAHCLS
members along with CATIE (B. Plant) will coordinate efforts to
provide information regarding HIV seroconversion testing, clinical
monitoring and basic biology. (C. Swantee)
2. CAHCLS
will correspond with the Therapeutics Directorate to urge them to
provide more resources to address the longer than necessary time
taken to respond and review kit licensure applications
3.
CAHCLS should revisit POC
statements from previous years with a view to take the opportunity
to ensure the quality of POC testing in their own province.
Follow-up of 2006 consensus statement:

Statement for National Program controls: CAHCLS support the NRL EQA
program
2. Consensus
statement: Establishment of a Working Group for Development of a
National Data Base to Collectively Monitor Number of HIV Serological
False Positives to develop term of reference: what data to be
collected, with what frequency, etc. needed to follow issue of false
positives. (Lead – Christianne, Members – Fred, Bonita, Todd, John)
